Kinematics Appoints Zant Chapelo as Chief Performance and Integration Officer

Leadership addition reinforces Kinematics’ commitment to innovation, operational excellence, customer success, and talent.

Phoenix, AZ — December 1, 2025 —  Kinematics, a leading provider of critical motion control systems that optimize, simplify, and secure energy production with leading bankability, today announced the appointment of Zant Chapelo as Chief Performance and Integration Officer. Chapelo’s appointment represents a significant step in support of the company’s global expansion following the acquisition of P4Q, positioning Kinematics to enter 2026 as a unified, global enterprise with nearly 800 employees across seven sites and six countries.

Chapelo joins the organization from Transcend, the management consultancy that has supported Kinematics throughout the year on integration, organizational design, and performance initiatives. Previously, he served as Founder of Harmonic Performance Consulting and as Chief People Officer at Anuvu, where he built the HR, organizational effectiveness, and learning and development functions for a global workforce of more than 3,500 employees across 22 countries. In this role, Chapelo will lead the continued integration of Kinematics and P4Q, aligning global teams and operational processes to build a high-performance enterprise capable of delivering on the company’s strategic growth plan.

Chapelo expressed enthusiasm for joining the executive team, noting, “What energizes me most is the opportunity to build on the momentum already in place. Collaboration and integration are critically interlinked, especially when uniting teams across cultures and locations. For seamless integration, all stakeholders must first understand the why, when, where, and how through the customer lens. When we build from this shared understanding, we create more efficient and effective outcomes and value for our customers, our employees, and our investors.”

Looking ahead, Chapelo sees an environment filled with opportunity as markets evolve and customers’ value drivers become increasingly sophisticated. He believes Kinematics’ innovative, customer-focused workforce positions the company for significant growth, noting that the abundance of opportunities will require strong team-level focus and disciplined execution as the organization continues to scale.

CEO John Payne welcomed Chapelo to the leadership team, emphasizing the strategic importance of the role during a pivotal period of growth. “Zant brings the exact blend of global integration expertise, leadership discipline, and cultural insight that Kinematics needs at this stage of our evolution,” Payne said. “As we expand our global footprint and unify our operations, his leadership will be instrumental in ensuring that our teams, processes, and systems scale with clarity, speed, and purpose. I’m thrilled to have him on board as we enter this next chapter.”

Kinematics is enhancing its capabilities across the solar, industrial, satellite, and EMS markets to better serve customers and empower employees. With Chapelo’s appointment, the company is accelerating its commitment to innovation, operational excellence, customer focus, and being one of the best places to work in the industry.

Chapelo is a decorated veteran of the United States Army and Air Force, bringing deep experience in global transformation, executive coaching, and the development of high-performance culture, supported by numerous certifications and a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management.
