Strengthens Lifecycle Solar Capabilities and Expands Global Repower Leadership
Phoenix, AZ – August 13, 2026 — Kinematics, a leading provider of critical motion control systems that optimize, simplify, and secure energy production with leading bankability, today announced the acquisition of RenuTrak, a repowering solar solutions provider based in Mesa, Arizona.
This strategic acquisition strengthens Kinematics’ position in the growing solar energy market and expands its ability to deliver comprehensive repowering and solar solutions worldwide. The combined companies share a vision of delivering high-performance, reliable solar tracker systems. Together, Kinematics and RenuTrak will offer enhanced capabilities across new installations, operations, maintenance, and repowering projects–supporting customers through the full lifecycle of their solar assets.

Following the acquisition, RenuTrak will operate as part of Kinematics, combining its proven repower expertise with Kinematics’ global resources, expanded customer support, increased investment, and a dedicated Phoenix service center to better serve customers and accelerate growth in the repower market.
As the global installed base of solar trackers continues to age, asset owners and independent power producers (IPPs) are seeking cost-effective ways to improve performance and reliability. While traditional repower strategies often require replacing entire tracker systems, Kinematics and RenuTrak offer a targeted approach that upgrades critical components and controls to extend asset life, improve energy production, and avoid the cost and disruption of a full tracker replacement.
